Recap

The second year — the start of a tradition and the year of the Bao.

We started with a night in Norrköping. People arrived just in time for dinner and we met up in the hotel bar. We headed out to The Lamp, supposed to be one of the best restaurants in town. The evening was a bit chill but we sat outside in the courtyard anyway. A lot of small courses were ordered, and some of us decided to go for the variations of bao buns that the menu had to offer. Not all of us were satisfied, to put it mildly — Anthony has not stopped talking about these very baos to this day and is apparently scarred for life. We hope you will get over it someday.

Early next morning we headed out to Norrköping/Söderköping Golf Club for the first round of the tournament. Not much is remembered from this round, but following up on his success from last year, Carl came out on top. Afterwards we headed for our accommodation at Villa Baro where we swiftly changed into bathrobes and headed for the spa area and some sauna. A great dinner followed, and the night ended with a game of pool and some drinks.

The next morning we played the golf course connected to the hotel, beautifully located by the lake, starting and finishing just metres from our rooms. It was a beautiful day, but in time for the last couple of holes a rainstorm swooped in, making the finish a real struggle. Soaked as we were, we headed straight to the changing rooms where Anthony, living up to being the pre-tournament favourite, received the Winners Hat from Calle to make his win official.

All in all, a great event!
