Recap

Into the woods.

This time we set course inland, to a house just off the main road by a small lake outside Karlskoga. On the way we played Örebro Mosjö, an open course with unforgiving rough — not bad, but nothing special. Dedication was at an all-time high as Mikael joined the trip all the way from Härnösand despite a broken toe. This round also marked the debut of the new CondorScore app, and while Claude had to hastily fix a few bugs mid-round, it ultimately proved a success.

Anthony, the favourite going into the tournament, lived up to expectations and won the first day. Back at the house we settled in for the night and fired up both the sauna and the grill (a healthy amount of meat was consumed over the weekend).

Day two took us to Karlskoga GK, a cosy woodland course. Conditions were a bit wet, though the only one complaining was Larre. The pace of play was extremely slow, but that didn't bother Micke and Bäckis in the slightest, as they happily cruised around the course in a golf cart with a beer in hand. The competition was close at times, but in the end Rasmus came out on top, securing the overall victory after winning both the final round and the closest-to-pin contest. The night ended with a sad DVD guessing game — an activity we can all hopefully forget and never speak of again.
